Sustainable source of omega-3 Purasana's vegan omega-3 softgels are an animal-friendly and sustainable source of omega-3 fatty acids. Using the algae species Schizochytrium instead of fish provides an omega-3 option free from the environmental impact that traditional fish oil entails. As the Omega3to1®️ algal oil is produced by a gentle extraction method, the final product has a low oxidation value (TOTOX value) and high freshness, further sustained by natural antioxidants such as vitamin E. DHA and EPA in optimal ratio The vegan omega-3 softgels provide the omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA in an optimal ratio of 3:1. Each softgel contains 375 mg of DHA and 125 mg of EPA and also takes into account the recommended daily allowance of 500 mg of omega-3 fatty acids for healthy adults. A daily intake of at least 250 mg of omega-3 fatty acids contributes to normal heart, brain and vision function.
