The followfood tuna is now available in a practical double pack with two small tins. The tuna comes from one of the most sustainable fisheries: Pole-and-line fishing in the Maldives. Here, the tuna are still caught individually with a fishing rod. The followfood tuna was caught off the Maldives using one of the most sustainable and ecological methods in the world: pole and line fishing. The tuna are caught individually with fishing rods in the traditional way. Instead of electronic aids, flocks of birds show our fishermen where the tuna are. This method conserves nature, avoids bycatch, protects the stocks and is therefore particularly close to nature and sustainable.
